Reconnecting Ruins

Keeps the damage visible and makes the street walkable.

An urban project for Corniche el Mazraa, worked with one collaborator. The street is cut apart, handed over to traffic, and lined with buildings left empty since the conflict. We ran generative models across the existing fabric to test how traffic and noise actually move through it, then proposed a bridge between two damaged buildings, a museum and a trauma care center in the empty ground floors, and wider sidewalks with planting. The damage stays visible instead of being cleaned away.
